First Time Watching The Eric Andre Show!

I just watched The Eric Andre Show because I follow people that were raving about it. Maybe my expectations were high but I didn’t like it. I was gonna say that Tim and Eric should give a crash course to the people that imitate are inpired by them, but then the credits rolled and Doug Lussenhop (editor of Tim and Eric Awesome Show, Great Job!) is one of the editors and then the Abso-Lutely productions (Tim and Eric production company) logo came up and I was like

I can’t believe Tim and Eric are involved with this and I don’t love it because they are usually involved with things that I love. anyway, if people love it that’s fantastic because i didn’t HATE IT but i’m let down and kind of depressed.

pros:

  • sinbad’s facial expressions
  • HANNIBAL! BLESS HIS HEART
  • the wheel of prizes
  • the random people that didn’t sign a release form and don’t know what’s going on
  • green screen because i love green screen
  • overall aesthetic

cons:

  • editing! there is an editing issue which is why i’m so surprised that doug edits the show but (i’m sure they will get it right eventually)
  • eric needs to calm the fuck down he’s over acting the whole time
  • the in-between sketches but eventually they will get the pace and the comedy
  • down
  • the tap dancer no no no bad
  • guests weren’t confused enough
  • “seinfeld” went on for too long
  • segments overall go on for too long. if they did them shorter they would cut the dead time and have time for more sketches WIN/WIN

I need more tim and eric on my dash if you post lots of tim and eric hmu

So as you probably already know, I finally found the song featured in this adult swim ad (and I bought it off itunes and it’s absolutely flawless) and I figured out why it’s so hard to find. If you look for it, it’s not going to say “by Davin Wood” or anything  because it’s a “music library” piece; that means that it doesn’t belong to a single artist. It was written specifically to be used for tv, movies, and commercials. The song was used in Tom Goes to the Mayor and this 90s drama called Northern Exposure. It was actually the Northern Exposure fans that helped me find the song. If anybody is interested, the song is “Time Stood Still” by “5 Alarm Music”, album “Vintage Songs 3.” Itunes has it and it lets you hear the first 1:30.

I didn’t know this happened!
